1. What are the eligibility criteria for admission to International Business School, Bangalore?
- The applicant should have completed Bachelors Degree or equivalent in any discipline.
- However if the applicant has completed his examination and results are awaiting then he can take provisional admission. But he has to submit the final mark sheet before 1st semester. Otherwise his admission will be forfeited.

2. What are the criteria for admission?
Admitted candidates should have good MAT scores, a good academic record, a clear idea of why they prefer International Business School, Bangalore for doing their two-year programme, leadership potential.

3. Is there a minimum MAT score?
No. But higher the MAT score, better the chance of admission. But we are open to CAT/XAT scores also. If you have not appeared any of the exams and willing to take admission with International Business School, Bangalore only then you can appear the IBMAT for considering your application.

4. If I have more than one of the above scores, which will be considered?
Highest score amongst the tests taken after 2008 May will be considered. But we will be considering the highest percentile of the scores.

5. What is the minimum marks/grade I should have at the Bachelors' level for me to apply for admission?
There is no minimum. However, selected candidates are likely to have had a consistently good academic record.

6. How would leadership potential be judged?
Leadership potential will be judged partly through the initial interaction with the admission co-coordinator and partly through GD/interview process.

7. Which electives are available to the participants?
Electives will depend on participant interest and faculty supply. Our effort will be to provide a wide range of electives including on marketing, finance, Human Resources, International Business, Retail management, Information system etc. Based on the participants' preference of batch 11 electives were offered in Semester III and IV. Participants can avail dual specializations.

8. What degree is offered at the end of the programme?
On successful completion, participants will be given a two Year Post-Graduate Diploma in Management and MBA certificate from a UGC approved university. This may be considered equivalent to the two year management programmers offered by Aims.

9. What is the charge for the application form and its submission?
Both are free.

10. What are the documents required for application?
No documents are required to be attached along with Application Form. However, the photocopies/originals would need to be provided later in the admission process. The application form specifies all the documents required. They include: CAT/MAT/XAT scores, employment history (if any), academic background, achievements etc. While the application will seek information from these documents, the photocopies/originals would need to be provided later in the admission process. Two sets of these documents should be attested by the gazetted officer and should be submitted along with 4 photographs.

11. Is staying on the institute provided PG/Hostel mandatory?
NO. But if you want to avail accommodation, separate accommodation will be available for both male and female participants.

12. What is the fee payment mode?
The Fees must be paid either in local cheque or Demand Draft in favour of "International Business School" payable at Bangalore.

13. Does the programme offer scholarships?
Yes we encourage both need based and performance based merit scholarships.
