Commencement of Feb 2008 Batch at International Business School, Lucknow
International Business School started the Feb 2008 Batch with Ganesh Pujan and lighting of symbolic Lamp by all the staff members and the students.

This was followed by a welcome address and an introduction of each other.

The students planted an ASHOKA tree in the campus as a mark of recognition of the event of their being the first students of International Business School Lucknow. The tree will grow to full size during the two years when they are in the campus, and will become big enough to remind these students ten to fifteen years from now when they pass from here of being the students of this campus.

This was followed by tea and snacks.

Industry Visit of February 2008 1st Batch to PARAG Dairy, Lucknow
In line with the International Business School teaching methodology of "industry interaction", a visit to the PARAG industrial unit in Lucknow was organized for the February 2008 batch on Saturday 23rd February 2008.

The objective of the visit was to give exposure to the students regarding the actual functioning of an industrial unit within the management perspective as taught in the preparatory classes. It was to familiarize the students with the various methods adopted commercially from the point of view of management.

The students understood business processes - right from the intake of the milk to production of various milk products, their packaging and dispatch.

The students asked very intelligent questions, which were answered well by the officials.

Mr. Vishal Jain, Asst. Dean of International Business School Lucknow, accompanied the students.

The students tasted all the delicacies produced by Parag - like flavored milk, sweet cured, peda, paneer, buttermilk and other items.

The students really enjoyed it.

Each student was asked to make a report on the Industry Visit and present it in the class on Monday.
